Topics

The Topics feature in Questies automatically tracks the different plot lines and significant developments within your story. It helps organize events and ensures the AI Game Master stays focused on the relevant narrative threads.

• Automatic Tracking — Topics are automatically generated and updated by the AI as the story progresses, grouping related events together.
• Journal View — Access and manage all your topics through the Journal.
• Toggle Visibility — Use the eye icon to toggle visibility for a topic. Hidden topics are still updated with new events but are not sent to the AI, keeping its focus sharp.
• Archive — Use the archive icon to mark a topic as inactive. Archived topics are hidden by default and are no longer updated or sent to the AI. They can be unarchived later if needed.
• Summaries — The AI periodically generates summaries for active topics to maintain context.

Topics help manage complex stories with multiple simultaneous plot lines. By hiding or archiving topics that are less relevant to your current focus, you help the AI Game Master provide more pertinent and engaging responses. Keeping topics organized improves the overall narrative coherence.

Topics are created based on story events, such as:

• Training with the City Guard
• Unraveling the Prophecy of the Lost Orb
